Artistic Dentistry of Hanover, in conjunction with The American Dental Association, conduct dental programs for the months of February and March. The theme for one recent year was Don’t Let Your Smile Become Extinct. They visit area 1st grades, kindergartens and preschools and even set up tours at their office at 125 Webster Street in Hanover.
For the past 25 years Dr. Albert Pizzi, Dr. Mark Donelan and Dr. Kevin Pizzi have taught children the importance of good dental health and nutrition. This year the program covered Hanover, Norwell and Hanson at the 1st grade and preschool levels, along with several preschools from Abington, Kingston, Pembroke, Quincy, Rockland and Weymouth. Dr. Albert Pizzi and his assistant, Kimberly Nawoichik, have presented a Special Story Hour at the John Curtis Library. The doctors, along with their staff of hygienists and assistants, have visited more than 1400 children. They demonstrate brushing and flossing with their puppets, Gina and Darlene. They also show several videos, which explain proper nutrition, the need for mouthguards, sealants and what a child can expect from his 1st visit to a dental office.
The practices philosophy is to educate the community, especially the children at a young age, about the importance of proper dental health and regular dental visits.
The dental office of Dr. Albert Pizzi, Dr. Mark Donelan and Dr. Kevin Pizzi has been in practice 40 years and welcomes any concerns regarding the education of our children in relation to their dental health.
