Local Dentists Dr. Albert Pizzi and Dr. Kevin Pizzi and members of his staff regularly attended the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s® (AACD) Annual Scientific Session. The AACD is the world’s largest organization dedicated specifically to cosmetic dentistry, and Drs. Pizzi play a major part in it. This year's event will take place May 16-20, 2006 in San Diego.
By attending the AACD’s Scientific Session, we are responding to more and more patients asking for cosmetic dental procedures. Over the last five years, consumer demand for cosmetic dental services has increased by 31.9 percent, according to an AACD survey.
The AACD often focuses on the future of dentistry. Today, many different professionals, from cosmetic dentists to facial plastic surgeons, combine their skills in cosmetic clinical cases, leading to the modern-day, inter-disciplinary approach to fine smile design.
